As Wi-Fi sponsor, Integris alleviates connectivity issues and helps drive the goal to make this year’s summit more interactive.

Integris®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations, announced today its participation in the recent Nonprofit Summit 2013 presented by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN). Convening hundreds of nonprofit and philanthropic professionals, GCN’s annual Nonprofit Summit is the largest sector event in the Southeast. Nonprofit leaders gathered to share and gain expert knowledge, inspirational ideas, solutions and resources to maximize impact in their communities.

This year marked the 22nd annual Summit, which included leading funders, nonprofit leaders from around the state, national thought leaders and nonprofit solution providers. Integris participated as an exhibitor educating attendees on the importance of Information Technology (IT) to nonprofits, answering questions about IT and demonstrating how Integris supports the unique IT needs of nonprofit organizations. In addition, as the Wi-Fi sponsor, Integris was able to support the Summit by helping GCN staff and attendees maximize visibility and further participate in and leverage social media. Twitter stations were set up in the main hall and in each session room.

“As we have grown GCN’s social media presence, we have also extended that effort by making our events more interactive and encouraging attendees to Tweet about the summit and share ideas with other non-profit communities,” said Karen Beavor, president and CEO of GCN. “Because reception in the venue was poor, we enlisted Integris to alleviate connectivity concerns, which gave our attendees the opportunity to more easily leverage social media during the event.”

“We are pleased to be a part of the GCN and this year’s summit, which was a great success,” said Hamish Davidson, president and co-founder of Integris. “We view the GCN as a critical provider of resources for the Georgia nonprofit and philanthropic community and support their work in providing non-profit organizations with the information and tools to better accelerate and increase their impact.”
