ProviDyn, a provider of IT support, strategy, and services for small and medium-size businesses and nonprofits ranked 159 on the 2021 Channel Futures MSP 501 - up 44 spots since 2020.

One of the most prestigious lists in the global technology industry, the MSP 501 recognizes the most innovative and influential market leaders providing managed services to today’s most demanding customers around the world.

The list (now in its fourteenth year) is used by leading vendors and distributors to better understand the channel while customers (small, medium, and large) use it to decide which partners can best meet their IT needs.

ProviDyn stood out among an astounding number of applicants (and 500 other winners) who pride themselves on their technical talent, growth-oriented business models, and strategic partnerships with industry-leading vendors and tech suppliers.

All 501 winners were announced online in separate groupings between June 21st and June 25th while the entire class of 2021 was honored in a webcast sponsored by Ingram Micro on June 30th.

“Being recognized as one of the leading MSPs in the world is somewhat surreal. I started this company in my basement in 2008 and feel so honored to be on the list six years in a row,” said Hamish Davidson, CEO, ProviDyn.”

He continued, “I feel so thankful for my early (and ongoing membership) in HTG, the country’s leading MSP industry peer group, now known as IT Nation Evolve. This organization along with fellow MSP teams, vendors, and consultants have inspired (and validated) a lot of the strategies and technologies our team has employed to deliver an exceptional client experience, built on a culture of values.”

ProviDyn Solution Advisor Jed Fearon, noted, “A year after the pandemic, we’ve never been stronger. Over the past year we’ve been very fortunate to add a host of new clients who share our strategic vision of IT as a business enablement/compliance benefit versus a cost center.”

Fearon went on to say, “Director of Client Strategy, Anita Marco, led efforts for ProviDyn to complete the MSPAlliance’s MSP Verify Program (MSPV) certification process, the oldest certification program for cloud computing and managed services providers.

The MSPV is based on the Unified Certification Standard™ (UCS) for Cloud and Managed Service Providers and developed by the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers.

The UCS consists of 10 control objectives and underlying controls that constitute crucial building blocks of a successful managed services (and cloud computing) practice.

The MSPV certification must be renewed annually. Most importantly, our existing and prospective clients can rest assured that their IT needs are in the hands of a vetted, stable, and professional organization. This differentiator really helped us stand out. And we weren’t shy about using this distinction as a sales tool.”
