ProviDyn Celebrates 10-Years of Technology Service to Clients and the Community; Hosts Company Picnic to Celebrate

ATLANTA – October 18, 2018 – ProviDyn®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary October 20, 2018. The firm, which has been widely recognized with honors and awards for its growth, capabilities and achievements, will commemorate the event with a company picnic, complete with games that foster both competitiveness and team building.

“We are so grateful to arrive at this milestone and have immense appreciation for our employees and all the clients who have chosen to partner and grow with us,” said ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson. “Driving business growth is central to our culture; it informs our operating activities and keeps everyone energized.”

The inspiration for ProviDyn came from Davidson’s previous role as the CIO for a start-up consulting company. By adopting a standards-based technology platform, Davidson helped grow the business to $65 million and 150 people in less than five years. Despite this stellar achievement, Davidson wanted more.

His vision was to lead a standards-based technology firm but go much further. Focusing on ongoing team training and corporate improvement, ProviDyn offers industry-leading, personalized IT support from some of the most knowledgeable, dedicated pros in the business. Today, every ProviDyn account is serviced in three ways:

  • A 24/7 network operations center and support desk with real-time remediation
  • A dedicated technical account manager assigned to each account to ensure total satisfaction and respond to higher-level IT service needs
  • A Virtual CIO, who meets with company stakeholders on a regular basis to fine tune their IT strategy

At ProviDyn’s outset, Davidson also wanted to incorporate community service, not only sponsoring events and volunteering but also offering non-profits technology service and expertise.

To date, ProviDyn has worked with dozens of community and non-profit organizations, boosting their technology capabilities and helping them raise millions of dollars in the process. Organizations ProviDyn regularly supports include The Partnership Against Domestic Violence, CURE Childhood Cancer, Action Ministries, the Atlanta Humane Society, MAAC, Lutheran Services of Georgia and many more.

Shortly after its inception, ProviDyn began receiving recognition, and the awards continue to roll in. ProviDyn has been named Best of Atlanta in the Professional Services category and deemed one of the top IT service providers in both North America and the world (MSPmentor), a top 500 MSP and a member of the “Tech Elite” (CRN), and one of the fastest-growing firms in the U.S. (Inc. Magazine).

In 2017, ProviDyn reached an extraordinary milestone when it received four awards in a single quarter—Inc. 5000, CRN Fast Growth 150, MSPmentor 501 and MSPmentor North America 200. And 2018 is shaping up to be even more spectacular.

“A lot has changed since then we started ProviDyn,” Davidson reflects. “Nevertheless, a good process never goes out of style,” Davidson says. “It’s an exciting journey, and we look forward to helping our clients along the way.”
