Atlanta, Georgia – February 2, 2018 – Integris®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, recently showed its support for the Agape Youth and Family Center, with Integris CEO Hamish Davidson, Controller Christine Davidson and Solution Advisor Jed Fearon attending the Ribbon Cutting ceremony of the organization’s brand-new facility. The event was held February 1, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the new facility, located at 2210 Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta, GA. For the last six months, Integris has been closely involved consulting, planning and managing the implementation of an extensive network infrastructure build-out project for the 35,000 square-foot center.
Agape, which in 2018 is also celebrating its 20th year in operation, broke ground for the new facility on May 13, 2017, after running a successful, $8.5 million capital campaign, “One Child at a Time.” At the groundbreaking, Agape Executive Director Nell Benn announced the new facility would enable his organization to increase the number of students it assists from 200 per day to 500 per day over a 10-year period.
“Integris has always had a mission of helping non-profit and community-centered organizations gain access to the technology solutions that support their operations and promote their success,” said Davidson. “Helping Agape was particularly rewarding for us, given their value to the surrounding community.”
Students in Agape’s programs receive 947 hours of programs and services each year, and high school program students are with Agape for an average of seven years. Students who remain in Agape’s programs through 12th grade have a 100 percent high school graduation rate. Once graduated, 20 percent gain employment, 40 percent enroll in vocational school and 40 percent enter college.
