ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson Participates in HTG Q2 Peer Group Meeting; Gains Insight into Emerging Technologies and Strategies
Atlanta, Georgia – May 18, 2017 – ProviDyn®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, recently participated in the HTG Q2 Peer Group Meeting, held May 1-5, 2017, at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas in Dallas, Texas. The quarterly event, highlights of which were a Managed Security Services Workshop and a session of the HTG Leadership Academy, also featured a Strategic Operations Breakfast, updates from key vendors that support technology firms, and a business development seminar.
“HTG Peer Group Meetings are always highly informative and engaging, allowing ProviDyn leaders to network with both key partners and fellow technology experts,” said ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson. “These meetings are especially beneficial because their focus is on advancement rather than competition. They are attended by professionals who are dedicated to attaining the highest levels of excellence—and to sharing their insights with peers.”
The Leadership Academy was led by top trainer Chris Fuller, who offered a session on “The 5 Levels of Leadership.” Fuller, who was personally mentored by world-famous facilitator and speaker John Maxwell, has orchestrated strategic sessions for many of the world’s Fortune 500 firms. The session held at HTG Dallas was designed to “provide a comprehensive growth process for the emerging leader and a development track for the growing leader…inspiring people to lead beyond their titles, to develop strong relationships that lead to higher production, to learn how to find and develop emerging leaders, and to create a culture of leadership development within the company.”
On Wednesday, May 3, attendees were invited to explore some of the newest tools that technology firms can use to expand and enhance their service and solution offerings. Throughout the event, attendees also networked and exchanged ideas and best practices with their colleagues, both at dinners hosted by event sponsors and in a series of Peer Group meetings sponsored by firms such as Ingram Micro, HPE and SonicWALL.
