Atlanta, Georgia – April 25, 2017 – ProviDyn®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, recently sent key attendees to HTG Spring ’17 Sales/Service Chicago, held April 4-7, 2017 at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge, just outside Chicago. ProviDyn Solution Advisor Jed Fearon attended the HTG Sales Executive Peer Group event and company Director of Client Services Linda Messing Williams attended the Service Summit.
Although HTG hosts separate HTG empower groups for sales and service professionals, this twice-yearly event brings the two sides together. Separate Peer Group tracks for each group, including both Peer Group Sessions and Peer Group Dinners, ensure ample learning and networking time. The one-day Service Summit—which for this event is open to both sales and service attendees—provides an opportunity for the two groups to work and network together.
"Events like this are part of ProviDyn’s commitment to a continuing investment in our people, which are the cornerstone for our achievements,” said ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson. “In the case of HTG events, they also spark inspiration for supporting our dedication to quality solutions and superior customer service.”
This year’s Service Summit featured a keynote address, “Mind the Gaps,” which touched on new areas of service opportunity and the service landscape for small businesses over the next few years. It was followed by an industry panel and several break-out sessions, including one entitled, “What Service Needs to Know About Sales.”
Peer Group Meetings
Conducted face-to-face, HTG empower: Sales Executive Peer Group meetings provide a confidential and transformative environment for enrichment and growth, where trusted peers use their life experiences to expand professional horizons and grow their knowledge, together.
HTG empower: Service Executive Peer Group meetings enable service professionals to network and interact with other service leaders. Gaining insight into best practices that move beyond delivering good service, these peers can expand their efforts to incorporate strategy, planning, metrics and more.
“HTG has long been recognized as a valuable professional association for technology business owners and their top sales professionals, and ProviDyn had garnered real value from participation,” said Fearon. “Bringing sales and service professionals together and uniting them through a single summit further extends the opportunities for collaboration and growth.”
